Nuri Coat - Ladies' - Review

I set an eye on Nuri Ladies' coat the first time I entered the Arc'teryx store last year. I didn't want to try it on because I had just bought a very pricey Mackage jacket a week before. I couldn't resist it though. I made the "mistake" to try it and OH MY GOD!!!!! It felt SO INCREDIBLY GOOD!!!! it was unreal, unbelievable that a winter coat could feel so great. It just fit like a glove on me, following every single curve of my body, nothing in excess, no unwanted wrinkles. And then I looked at myself in the mirror and OH MY GOD again!!!!!  I looked like a million dollars. I instantly regretted buying the Mackage (which I loved).

Ultimately I ended up buying the Nuri and selling the Mackage at a loss. But I would do it again.

So let's sum up:

Nuri Coat looks great and feels even greater. It is very chic - you can go to a restaurant or theater in it, but also has some sportiness.
It is extremely warm. I wore it at -12C (felt like -24C) with a light cotton sweater and didn't feel cold at all. It is hard to believe that a thin coat like this can be so toasty. The best part is the hood. It keeps you warm but does not restrict your head from turning let and right. The coat zips up to your chin, so you don't need a scarf either.

As far as styling. It is impeccable. I love the sleeves - they are slightly longer on top, to cover the top of your hands and short at the palms.
The back of the jacket is longer as well, which makes it look sleek and sporty. The entire coat is so well cut that it gives you that nice and slim look, following every single curve of the body, emphasizing the waist.

And finally - the best feature of the jacket - it is so unbelievably comfortable. I can't describe it. You have to put it on to understand. It feels like a second skin. Not a single restriction of movements - like wearing your most comfortable hoody or T-shirt.

I have to admit - I don't like winters because of all the heavy stuff you have to wear - boots, coats, sweaters, gloves and hats, scarves, and and etc. But not this year. Just a thin pullover, a thin pair of gloves, no hat or scarf and I'm set. I am actually enjoying it!!!!

I totally agree about the Nuri.
It's a great coat. The funny part is that nobody notices it in the stores and at the moment somebody sees me in it, they start asking where I got the jacket from and end up buying it. This happened to me in Sporting Life a couple of times. It was funny. I feel like I am a walking Nuri add.
