Food Grease on Arcteryx ATOM

I recently got food grease on my Arcteryx ATOM jacket. What is the best method to remove the food grease stain from this type of jacket?

Welcome to THE forums David. The way we get rid of grease is to put talcum powder on the stain BEFORE YOU WASH IT, cover it with a piece of paper and a heavy object for a couple hours and wash as usual.

Oh man.. I didn't see your reply and wanted to get to the stain as soon as I could so I put some dawn soap on it and washed it in cold. If the stain didn't come out will I still have the chance of putting talcium on it tomorrow? I won't be able to get to the jacket for another 24 hours or so
