Most Used Jacket?
My most used jacket has to be the Atom LT Hoody. I use it as a layer AND in the spring and fall. Love it!

Re: Most Used Jacket?
Hardshell: Theta SV (2011 model)
Softshell: Epsilon SV jacket (circa 2010 model)
Fleece: Handler jacket (2007)
Pants: Perimeter pants (current)
Shorts: there is not one pair of shorts I am that crazy about.
Although i use lots of the newer gear There is something about each piece with the fit or features that draws me back the most of any of my gear.

Interesting as I've tended to rather dismiss the Theta. What draws you to that shell K2?

Re: Most Used Jacket?
A few things that I prefer:
The old version uses burly n150 p fabric (super durable yet still supple).
Large volume cut: I size down to a small and fit a hair smaller than my medium alpha SV (a touch trimmer in the chest) and allows me to use layers or completely as a shell.
Storm hood lets me wear hooded or non hooded mid layers.
Longer cut provides more coverage in front and back.
Hand pocket placement I find is superior to alpha's Napoleon chest pockets.
Better articulation than the alpha SV
Lastly nicer overall silhouette when wearing it.
(It was also cheaper than the alpha SV by $50!)

Thanks those are great points and I'll make a point of checking it out when it's time to add to the herd. The idea of downsizing is very enticing to me.

Re: Most Used Jacket?
The new theta SVX is even a bit nicer with the extra chest pocket, and double windflap. Uses n80p X fabric (not as burly but a bit softer)
